Great value for the money , one of the plastic containers did break but it was probably mugshot . Still use it as it is ! ### ⭐⭐ Didn't like it. *by B***V on September 23, 2011* I bought this despite the many negative reviews and now have to write my own. I returned mine for a refund. First problem: Mine didn't look like a brand new item, it had scratches on some of the surfaces, and the original box was not sealed. It looks cheap too. Secondly, I didn't notice in the description that it was oval shaped, I thought it was round (as it looks in pictures). My intention was to put trays on a regular pot and boil water that way if the base heater on this one stopped working as mentioned in many of the reviews. But with trays being oval shaped it is impossible to find the right size pot. The item description failed to state that this thing is made out of PLASTIC almost entirely, I thought Stainless Steel and Glass with bits of plastic. I am not sure how it is with other steamers, this one requires frequently adding water while cooking, during the 45 minute cooking time I added water twice. It will probably fail early if let run dry. The only positive: it comes with 1-year manufacturers warranty, although you probably have to pay shipping which is annoying on something this cheap.
