They have a similar capacity to an overnight pad. They work great if you are planning to double up with a tampon or cup during the day. You can sleep in them, but it may or may not work out. If you do plan to sleep in them, wedgy them in the back because the protection doesn't go all the way back. (Or only sleep in them on light days. I did sleep in them on heavy days without suffering leaks, but I also woke up right as they were about to leak.) The seam in the back is obnoxious, but you do get used to it. They are far more comfortable in my opinion than a pad - even with the back seam. They are just a little high rise, not as much as the ones which are labeled as high rise. I normally wear a size 6, but it was recommended I buy one size bigger, so I did buy size 7, and they fit perfectly. **Q: Do these come in larger sizes? I wear a 12.** A: See the size chart.
