Colavita brand from NewJersey *by D***. on February 24, 2014* No way to tell if this is really Italian grown Arborio Rice. Searched Colvitas web but nothing that looked like the 2 lb packages I received.They do show the Dal Raccolto brand on the site so I assume they may be related. Amazon was responsive and reshipped but I recieved the same colavita again not Dal Raccolto . Amazons picture of the box side says long grain rice.No description on the packages I received. I decided to cook up a batch using a pressure cooker recipe and it did turn out creamy. Since I have never had risotta before I can't compare. I give it 4 stars based on Amazons trying to do whats right for the customer. This is the first time I was confused by a purchase but I must say I don't usually order from Grocery section. Eight pounds seems like a lot, but it's vacuum-packed in boxes of two pounds, and so it should keep well. (However, I'm already into the second eight pound order because it's so good!)
