I've really tried to be a one man show for most of it. When it came time to install the three West facing windows on my house, I needed some help. The windows are 3' wide by 5' tall. With this one vacuum cup, I was able to hold the window like a sheet of plywood, climb up a ladder and get the window placed near the rough opening. The indicator line is clearly visible as you use the tool, and it works as promised. With a helper, I managed the final step of shoving the window out the rough opening, then back in with the flanges extended. This was the biggest window so far, and was the easiest to install as well. Also very helpful for moving the un-installed windows around the house prior to installation. MAKE SURE you know how heavy your windows are, and compare that to the rating of the cup. We contacted the window manufacturer to make sure we weren't above the weight limit on the 8" cup. the release button is hard to hit while the tool is in use. This is, obviously, by design and very much welcome. Easy one hand pump and release. Wish I had bought this for the smaller windows (all 16 of them).
