It didn't completely lay flat on the platform so when he stepped on it, his weight pushed it down the rest of the way and it slightly grabbed some of his skin on the bottom of his foot.I didn't realize that the stool would unfold after every use, either. Clever design, though. Perhaps future designs will have it lock into place before stepping on it! I weigh 156 lbs., and the bike adds a further 32 lbs., making a total of 188 lbs., WELL BELOW the advertised capacity of the step. You know what's coming: it collapsed completely. Luckily, no injuries were done to either car, bike, or cyclist, but I think the least they could do would be to refund my money for this dangerously over-rated product, since I have already gone out and bought another, sturdier step, which seems unlikely to behave so badly.
