It's used widely in manufacturing of many products. Apparently the European food safety regulators no longer consider it safe, and the Environmental Working Group is asking the FDA to ban it (something to do with PFAs). If the product still contains this, I'd skip it. **Q: Is this product vegetarian?** A: I'm going to say that because this product contains no food, it can't be vegetarian. Just like salt can't be vegetarian. **Q: I love this supplement!
