From the same sample of urine, I got a reading that was too high and almost humanly impossible, and the next two wands (same urine sample) gave me readings of ZERO. Really disappointed as it skews data and predictive ability goes out the window. Multiple wand failures is unacceptable with how much these cost. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's Cheaper than IVF *by S***D on Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2021* I understand that the wands/Mira analyzer seem pricy but then again, so is IVF/IUI. So using Mira is way cheaper and it works. My husband and I have been trying for two years to get pregnant. After using Mira for two months, I got a positive pregnancy test. Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, but we know we will be able to try again. I used Mira to help tract my ovulation and took Conception pills to help regulate my period so that the dates were accurate. When Mira's app showed me when I would ovulate, it was correct. I had the highest LH surge on that exact date. I know it seems frustrating and it really is emotional but baby dust to all. Stay strong. You will be parents, one day. ### ⭐ Stick with LH strips for $0.24/test strip vs these $45 wands. *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2019* I want to preface my review by saying that I do appreciate this device and what it is capable of. However, I've gone through 2 and a half batches of test wands at this point and in every batch I have had multiple failed test wands or bad tests. I've had to reach out to customer service, which takes days to get back in touch, in order to reach a resolution and have bad tests removed. I recommend following their video tutorials and making sure you really read the instructions to insure you don't waste any wands but even if you follow everything to T you may still have bad wands or issues with test results. Like I had a test result that would have indicated I had a serious medical issue and it ended up being a bad test. I ended up talking to some other people who have had the same experience.It's a new technology that is amazing to have in terms of knowing more about yourself but my recommendation is to confirm your test results by running it side-by-side with another OPK. If both tests indicate low, medium, high LH then you could probably safely assume the results Mira gave you are accurate but otherwise you have no way of knowing how truthful it is without looking at other data inputs. So whether you are trying to conceive or avoiding it I wouldn't rely only on this Mira device.Another issue is that the app is obviously run by an algorithm which means bad test results can skew what the app tells you are your most fertile days or when to expect your cycle because of this I really urge people to take the app with a grain of salt. It's a good resource but do not rely solely on just the app and this device to give you the full picture.So to break it down on why it's 3 stars and not 4 or 5 or 1: Customer service is slow. Resolution with removing bad data is slow. The app is buggy. You can enter your temp but it may not be there tomorrow. So data lost. I recommend recording temp elsewhere. You have to enter a password every time you want to access the app as well. Annoying. Test wands are finnicky, expensive, and non-reliable. Some test wands in every batch will fail. You cannot rely just on this device. This is a hefty price point and you need to confirm data to be sure if you want to really pinpoint your ovulation. I'm sure overtime the app's bugs will be resolved and the tech will improve and so on. For now, it's an investment and I recommend not putting all your eggs in once basket.
