**Q: Does this come with a security seal?**
A: Mine did not come with a security seal and the box was open.  I am returning it.

**Q: is it waterproof?**
A: Cannot tell you for certain because I use this for bites.  This product is brilliant if used immediately after getting bitten. They just disappear, itching stops so no scabs. I suffer terribly but since using this OINTMENT (and the ointment is far better than the cream) I am never the one with legs and feet covered with bites.  I totally recommend it.

**Q: Can this cream help heal bruisers?**
A: Appreciate your question, Cortizone 10® products contain 10 soothing moisturizers that are only indicated for the temporary relief of itching associated with minor skin irritations, inflammation, and rashes due to poison ivy, poison oak, sumac, insect bites, eczema, psoriasis, detergents, jewelry, cosmetics, soaps, and seborrheic dermatitis. The products also temporarily relieve external anal and genital itching.  Please consult a Dr. or Pharmacist to examine your bruises to confirm its plausible interactions in your use case.  The FDA has determined that hydrocortisone is generally accepted as safe to use in accordance with the directions on the package.

This works well for skin irritation caused by repeated or prolonged exposure to moisture. While cortisone cream adds to the moisture in the area, this ointment formula does not and actually helps to create a moisture barrier when applied to the irritated skin. This is exactly what I was looking for and really helped me.
