It has room for the essentials like tubes, a mini tire pump, trail tools, a first aid kit, snacks, keys, and maybe an extra layer if it's thin. I'll update this review if durability is an issue in a few months but so far, the durability has been good, especially considering it was involved in a wipe out on my first day with it. Another bonus: NO MORE SWEATY BACK! Also, I don't carry water with this pack because I have my water bottles mounted to my bike.EDIT: I loved this product enough to buy a second one in a different color! The water holder works great and there are lots of pockets for everything. Build is good and the straps and buckles work well. The only drawback for me is that my iPhone 6S barely fits in the largest pocket and it is straining the zipper when it does.
