The writing paper is thick, but it’s not smooth or had some property to it that makes pens bleed, and I don’t mean through the page, I mean laterally. For gel pens or pens over 0.5 mm, your writing is going to look a little imprecise because of how the paper responds to some pens.This set came with two notebooks. Both had very slight damage to the outside, which didn’t bother me too much, but one of them wasn’t made well or had been damaged inside too. The first 20 pages of the notebook had a crease right in the middle of the page, it had been bent up before coming my way.The binding seems well made. I don’t think pages will be coming loose. There is only one margin rather than 2, which I like because you can write a lot in one line.The color and feel of the notebook is very nice.
