Many bad things will happen. But for your information, the motor stalls/locks at 23 N-m at 25A. **Q: I’m looking to join this 3/8” d shaft with a 9/16” d shaft on my drill press. any idea where i can find a reduction coupler for this application?** A: Amazon sells a spider coupling made by Lexar industrial; 3/8” to 1/2” L075. You would have to ream the 1/2” to 9/16” for your application . **Q: Will this motor operate safely at 18 volts?** A: The motor will run faster at 18vdc. It will run at around 70rpm instead of 50rpm.
