A smoother coating surface can be obtained by using the Gundam Marker Airbrush together, so even beginners can easily express beautiful plating. * When coated with clear, the painted surface becomes cloudy.

Review: incredibly shiny - Most of these metallic paint markers have more of a shimmery/glittery look to them. You can almost see the flecks of metallic sheen suspended in the paint. They look good, but it's a very specific look. The EX Plated Silver has a very smooth, shiny, mirror-like finish. Very different from the other metallic paint markers I've used. I can't think of a lot of situations where I'd want to prominently feature this paint on a model... But it works great to add depth and shine behind eyes or lenses in gunpla.
Review: Beautiful shine - It looks really good, but has a big downfall, you can't touch it, ever, no matter how long it dries, your fingers will remove the shine and you cant polish it back, it's just gone stuck to your finger, with gloves on it helps but it still gets a little messed up, haven't tried topcoating yet.

Most of these metallic paint markers have more of a shimmery/glittery look to them. You can almost see the flecks of metallic sheen suspended in the paint. They look good, but it's a very specific look. The EX Plated Silver has a very smooth, shiny, mirror-like finish. Very different from the other metallic paint markers I've used. I can't think of a lot of situations where I'd want to prominently feature this paint on a model... But it works great to add depth and shine behind eyes or lenses in gunpla.
