Each item is a pleasure to use because of the smooth curves. The knives cut well. However, some might not like the set because the small desert spoons are considerably smaller than teaspoons. Bought the set as a treat for myself as have always wanted a nice cutlery set ... have since lost a teaspoon and ordered 3 more (cheaper through Viners site direct for individual items). I read of lot of reviews on this before I bought it as was nervous about buying online without being to see and touch the product. All the comments were positive except those aboutthe teaspoons. The thing is, the teaspoon is exactly that... design for use as a small teaspoon, if you are used to what I call a ‘normal’ sized teaspoon this will feel strange at first but after a month of using I’m completely used to the size now, you adapt how much you need using a smaller spoon, you just have to get used to it. The spoons seem about half the size of what I’m used to so still have some if my old ones kept separately. Great for eating yoghurts or anything out of a small pot and makes it last longer. Absolutely love the whole set, I use the desert knives and forks to eat my dinner, while my husband uses the proper dinner sized ones, the desert knives and forks are perfect for ladies with small fingers (like me) .. one of the best things I’ve ever bought and the packaging was also very smooth and nice to touch.
