I, and many other flyers of RC model airplanes in my club, use these as both a quick checker of the voltage for all my various sizes of LiPo batteries AND as a low voltage battery alarm in every RC plane I fly ... I set the low voltage alarm at 3.5 volts and I get maximum flight tikes before it very loud, high-pitched alarm sounds telling me it is time to land. for the alarm, I plug it in the balancing lead that is on each of my RC airplane batteries. Love these thing! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Must have out in the field *by G***T on Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2018* I got tired of using my DMM to measure cells. I haven't tested the accuracy or ever single one, but the one I used works fine. Probably not completely accurate but close enough for field checking your batteries or alarming you when you've reached the per cell voltage threshold you set. IIRC it's between 2.3 or 3.8 that you can set the alarm. One is super loud for alarm, the other is stupid quiet. I'm not sure if that's intentional or not, but that's how mine works.I'm happy with these. 3 set aside to have as backups, one in the field kit and one in the charge box. One unit was a little sketchy ( wouldn't light up all the way and show the voltage) on a single cell Lipo battery that was at about 3.77 volts, measured with one of the working units. Haven't tried all of the units yet.
