Basically I had to take off the pivot parts that connect to the bike to the fender switch places with each other so that the fender sits a little farther back. Otherwise, the fender would have sit 1" above the tire which is a little too high and has a little bit of danger of the front part hitting something on the back of the seat, which might crack the front part of the plastic.Not sure why zefal lists this as a good size for 29". This seems to be good size for a 27", imo. Even seems good for my 26", although the back fender does hand out a tiny bit. Their mudguard series which is marketed for 26" bikes, does not have enough coverage for 26" bikes, imo and is probably more suited to 24" to 22" sized tires, especially if you want to use it as a rear mudguard fender.I don't know if this will fit all 26" bikes though. I don't have a bike that has a back frame which rises toward the seat at a 45 degree angle (which describes most hardtail bikes I think). But if you have a full suspension mountain bike that has a frame similar to the gravity fsx series mountain bikes (26"), then this just might fit well.. maybe.I was also thinking about getting a mudhugger rear fender, but the price was over twice this, and there too many unknowns with the mudhugger (would the front part be in contact with the back seat of the bike which could cause cracking for example?). Didn't also like the fact that mudhugger used zipties, which makes it harder to clean certain areas of the bike without taking off the back wheel.So far am pleased with this fender. There are things about it that I think could be improved to fit my bike more. But those improvements probably would make it harder to fit other bikes possibly. I got it to replace an impulse bought topeak defender, and it is definitely an improvement.The length and coverage is good on a 27.5"/700 x38 tyre.The front portion could be longer though. The fender is flexible, so some movement should be expected. I would have liked to see metal yoke arms for attachment to the frame.The attachment clamps are well made, but are a tad too long (I'm using the shorter of the two sets) which means that I had to improvise a way to make them clamp tightly. I ended up using some of the supplied padding along with some rubber I had lying around. A short length of 3/8" or 1/2" ID rubber tubing or garden hose would serve very well here I believe.Overall, a nice looking, well performing rear fender for a hybrid bike. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best for a Haibike e-mtb *by J***U on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 14, 2019* The installation process is tough but I have to give 4 stars because I there no better fit for my e-mtb. Makes my bike look rugged without sacrificing function. It covers my arse pretty good on wet roads. I have a Haibike and it feels like it belongs with the bike. You may need to try different ways to install it because I had turn the mounts into the guard to increase stability.
