I just lift the hair up and spray a little and then let down some more and spray on the midsection and continue until done. Then I lightly spray the top. The Awesome shampoo's consistency, of course, is very similar to that of liquid laundry detergent. This is because you cannot shampoo synthetic wigs using ordinary hair care products--the pH level in ordinary shampoos and conditioners will be too harsh and damaging to these wigs, and cause them to dry out or shed. Because synthetic wigs are not like human hair, they also tangle VERY EASILY, making the leave-in spray very useful for detangling them. The directions on the bottles are very direct and simple to follow, even for people who are new to using synthetic wigs like myself. I was initially very intimidated by the wig care process, because I am still trying to learn all I can about wearing wigs, but these products made washing my wig very easy and showed me I had nothing to worry about. I highly recommend these products for anyone interested in wearing wigs for the first time!!

This spray definitely works in moisturizing and deranged your hair, if you have a thin wig a little goes a long way but it is a small bottle and on the expensive side. It smells pleasant and actually works
