Review: Very flimsy - I love the idea of stand assist but the holes do not line up with the pieces and the arms to the aid , move around , way too much for my liking. It actually moves , while she's trying to stand up with it . It's almost unsafe for my Grandmother to use . I had to go back to lifting her with my bad shoulder again.

**Q: I'm disabled and have a hard time getting off the floor, will this work?**
A: I am not disabled but I would not be able to raise myself from the floor with the stand assist living aid.  I purchased this to assist raising up from the sofa after hip surgery.  I had one hip done and standing from the sofa was difficult without having something higher to push myself up with.  I have future hip surgery and I know this item will work well for raising from the sofa but even without a disability I would never be able to use it from the floor.

A: I don’t believe it will. Not very sturdy   Does require a hard surface

Almost easy to put together (a bit confused by the instructions ) but I did it Not as sturdy as I hoped but not bad I liked the fact that the legs fold to store when not in use I’m giving this 4 stars because of the lack of sturdiness
