**Q: White bulk size yarn is needed for a simple afghan? And about how much yarn do you need?**
A: I used Lion Brand Homespun (weight 5 yarn) for a large blanket measuring roughly 48 inches wide and close to 6 feet long. I think I used 9 skeins of that yarn and it has 185 yards per skien in the solid colors. I have found that the Lion Brand website has the best patterns for afghans and it gives you an idea of how much yarn to use.

**Q: Do the edges curl?**
A: I cast-on, then alternate e-wrap and purl for the entire afghan. No curling edges.

**Q: how much yarn do I need**
A: Depends on the type you use but for example using Lion Brand Homespun it took 7 skeins to make a twin size afghan.

**Q: what does it include**
A: It includes the knitting board and the loom hook plus an instruction booklet with a couple patterns.

This makes beautiful blankets and is easy to use. I’ve made at least 20 projects on this and every time it’s been a breeze to work on. The s shape is way easier than the long flat boards
