I didn't measure the door on my refrigerator before hand. It barely fits. I have to position it so that the edge is just under the door handle. I was able to get the big bubbles out, but when you look closely at it, there are small bumps remaining that I haven't been able to get out. The grids are adequate sizes. It erases and cleans well.
