The One Tigris mask solves this issue. Hard metal mesh where it is needed: covering the nose and mouth. Sides are thinly padded nylon. Enough to protect the cheeks yet soft enough to get a good cheek weld that it almost feels like theres no mask at all. Having owned 2 other masks, the One Tigris is in much better quality. Stitching is straight and no visible glue marks on the taped edgings. This mask is very well made. One drawback though is because of its foldable, soft design this would not integrate well with helmets like some players to by attaching the mesh lower mask on bump helmet rails.
