It does say this somewhere in the product specs but i didn't catch it b4 i ordered. It still works but not as well as i had hoped cuz our tub has i very slight texture, but that's on me for not thoroughly reading the description & specs so that's why I'm posting it here. So, if your tub is perfectly smooth this would b ideal.
