A: I purchased these pants for my 7 yr old grandson that has a stocky build right now, which fit him fine around the waist but about 6 inches to long, hemed them up and will let the length down once he starts his growth spurt just like his older brother had.  Nice sweatpant set and the elastic waist band can be tightened or loosened up, so I personally feel, it's a good 14/16 fit.

**Q: Do they fit slim size boys?**
A: There is a drawstring at the waist that can be cinched up for slim boys.  I bought these for my twin grandsons who are both very slender and they love them.  The lining makes these pants suitable for cooler weather

**Q: My son is 9/10. What size should we get?**
A: Medium for a boy who wears size 9/10.

These were great for my son. He is very skim with long legs and I usually struggle to get them small enough in the waist without them being too short. These fir very well and it was nice to have a three pack.

Nice pants for good price, but huge difference in size between medium and large. I usually buy large for my son, but in this brand medium fits my 10yo son who is 57” and 90lbs, but doesn’t leave much room for growth. Large was way too big and long, fits more like size 14-16 than 10-12. Wish there was a size in between.
