Will glue products adhere to these papers, spray paint, etc? Thanks!** A: Spray paint should stick. Glue is going to depend on the type of adhesive it is based on. This paper is “polished” for lack of a better description. It is not like cotton bond paper or open porous papers. I don’t know if it is coated with something but it’s kind of like wax paper. I have used it to mix epoxy and after the epoxy sets up, it can’t be removed. I don”t think a PVA type glue like Elmers traditional white glue would make a super bond but it probably would have some degree of holding power. Polyurethane glues like Gorilla Glue like to soak into porous substrates to make a bond but this paper is not easily wettable so those types of adhesives may not work too well either. Contact cement will stick to most smooth surfaces and would probably work as would the spray type adhesive used to mount photos to mat boards.
