It should be mentioned, however, you still have to be careful when brushing up against something as this is when it usually dislodges and depending on case, you mignt not hear it. So,..... it ts not failsafe like a clip on phone case, but those are like drawing a cold out of a max security straight jacket. The magnetic phone holder consists of a clip-on devioce with 2 embedded circular magnets which pair up with the included opposing metal low-profile discs (to be adhered wherever you like...and can be easily removed with a flat scraper blade). The magne-clip allows for an ez pull away phone....no snaps, straps, holsters or velcro hindering instant access. Since most of us have protective cases, though, the limiting factor to this system is your case creating a barrier to the magnetic field, yet still is the strongest one I've found tio date.(this issue is common to all of them if you're like me, i prefer to adhere the discs directly to the back of the phone then slip on the case over the discs thus concealing the magnets for a cleaner look. I suppose you could adhere the magnets to the outside of your case but not a good look IMO. That being said, I realized how much stronger these magnets hold your phone when directly contact is made (as in pry off strength) so I ordered two thicker metal discs on Amazon (some accesorry vendor) which provided the strong magnetic bond I needed for my somewhat rigorous job. At the expense of aesthetics I modified my case by tracing and cutting out the case material where the circular discs stand out, and now its almost impossible to fall off unless pried hard with my fingers. ### ⭐ Beware of this case *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2016* Worst mount ever. One brush against my bag caused my phone to tumble to its cracked fate.
