Spray on the surface. Let it dry. (Do not touch it, it's like a powder). Laser engrave it. Wash with water. Ready! I liked this over a more expensive version as the plunger top is nicer and there is more information provided by this company... amazing customer service, they really went out of their way to help me get the right settings on my laser.
