It has a dedicated LED light button on the back of the unit. No need to go through menus to enable night vision mode. It has a mini-USB port on the back of the unit so that one can easily use an external USB power bank to keep it powered on as long as needed. The touchscreen seems to be accurate and works better than most of the other camcorder screens out there. It has a hardware function switch that allows one to go from system to camera to camcorder mode without using the touchscreen.It has three resolutions 1080p (30 hz), 720p (30 hz), and VGA. It claims that it has image stabilization, but that option only appears in camera mode and not in video mode. I didn't try the photo mode since I am only interested in using it as a camcorder. It has an 18X digital zoom (of no interest to me). The battery seems to be unique but the unit comes with a battery charger. It also supports wi-fi and even has an infrared remote.Although it has some nice features that are unique to this camcorder it does have a few drawbacks. The manual claims that you can adjust the focal length while recording but I found no way to do that. It appears to be fixed focus and has blurry infrared if one gets too close (less than about 1.5 meters). The infrared LED is very bright and extremely visible even in a well-lit room (That seems to be standard on most night vision camcorders however). It has an IR cut filter so the IR images are in B&W (you can override this with color options however). If you close the door even when recording it will power the unit off.In summary, it seems to be well constructed and sturdy. It has some well thought-out design features. Although battery life is atrocious it will run fine using a USB power bank. The really great things about it are the external USB port and the dedicated LED light (there is also a dedicated visible lamp on the door). It is easy to use and does a decent job in night vision mode. However, the focus seems fixed and thus has limited close-up ability. As with most fixed-focus camcorders, it likely will not work with add-on lenses. The lack of a manual focus adjustment limits what could have been a great product. ### ⭐⭐ Its okay... but i advice something else. *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2017* I bought this camcorder yesterday so i can film all my adventures at conventions and make other yourube videos. I like the "infrared" feature alot. Dont know if ill use it but its always cool to have. But anyways, the reason i am writing this review is because when i played back my test-video, the playback audio was all kinds of messed up. Yes you could hear me, but it also sounded like a siren was going off in the background (even though while filming i was the only thing making noise). I messaged the seller to see if there is a way to fix it... and if not that id like a refund.... waiting for them to reply back. But i gave this 2 stars only because i like the infrared feature. Otherwise it would have gotten a single star (shipping time was amazing). BUTTT, overal... i advice spending your money else where. ### ⭐ No do not waste your money this is not a full spectrum camera *by C***W on Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2017* Im sorry but this camera is not worth the money they're charging and it doesn't contain the features that it lists. Mainly this is not a full spectrum camera it has a LED light it does not have full spectrum capacity which is the only reason I bought it. As far quality and features the rest are exactly the same as the $50 one .
