How is anyone having success with downward dog?** A: As I don’t know the physical challenges you may have, I will only speak for myself. I would do downward facing dog with the lower level of the wrist buddy and at that level, I don’t experience any instability and the wrist buddy is certainly more supportive than a regular block and less stressful than the floor. That said, I personally would not use the wrist buddy for downward facing dog simply because I can do this posture without them. This may simply come down to what works for one person does not work for another. I suspect that you have physical issues which just don’t make these blocks the right choice for you. **Q: Is it formamide free?** A: After checking, I have found that formamide is not present in Wrist Buddy yoga blocks because they must have a higher density and hardness to support the user's full or partial body weight. Highly recommend ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ supportive but a little wobbly for whole-body weight/balancing *by A***R on March 4, 2026* These have really help me progress with my yoga practice while recovering from a broken wrist. Once I was strong enough and healed (with Dr's permission) to get back to yoga, I found my wrist was still somewhat weak when my hand/arm was at a 90 degree angle (like when you're in plank). These blocks allow me to hold a plank without wrist pain!
