There is a 30 second timer to brush each section of your mouth and after you have cleaned all 4 quarters, it turns itself off. The small plastic caps that go over each toothbrush head to protect it when not in use is also a very handy feature. The only thing I haven't checked out is whether you can get a fitted travel protector case but even if you cannot purchase these separately, you can store it easily in your washbag with the small protective plastic head to keep the toothbrush head clean and dry. We skimped out and bought cheap replacement heads which I would not recommend as they’re nowhere near as good. A few people have complained about the battery life but we find it okay, charging 1-2 times per week max.
