A: Sealed but  mine broke after 12hr use had to return it

A: Yes definitely

**Q: Is this fan outdoor rated?**
A: Not sure what you mean by outdoor rated.  I use mine in my dog run and it works great to keep the pups cooler.  I wouldn't use it in the rain though since it is an electrical appliance.

**Q: Is the diameter of the yellow shroud 18”? I need to be precise about it. Thanks.**
A: The diameter of the yellow shroud only is about 19.53 inches, and it will be about 24.21 inches if two knobs included
