It does what it is supposed to do, measuring to 2 decimal points. This isn't as important for those that just need a down and dirty temperature read but is great for those that are trying to keep track of their ovulation cycles. The times that is takes to get the temperature is a bit different each time, but it was round about a minute each time for me. I would recommend this more for the woman tracking her cycles, not so much for a family that needs to get kids temps real quick.Not that these types of thermometers are all that heavy, but this one feels lighter than others that I have. The squared off shape of it also makes it easier for me to hold. It takes my temp in one minute as advertised and is very easy to use. I use this in conjunction with a fertility app to help track ovulation and I am looking forward to more accurate ovulation predictions with the help of this. The thermometer comes with a small case which helps keep it clean and safe so I can keep it in my purse or toiletry bag when traveling. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product with a small exception *by J***R on January 25, 2017* This thermometer seems to work great with the exception that it does not reflect the correct previously taken temperature when you turn it back on. According to the details, the thermometer is supposed to store the last taken temperature but when I turn the thermometer off and then back on it shows an incorrect temperature reading.
