It is large enough to carry a tablet / notebook as well as a wallet and more. It has a zipper closure as well as the button & loop closure. There is a small pocket on the strap with a Velcro closure. Great for keys or cards, but not big enough for a smart phone. The construction of the pattern is the same as in the photo. Seems like a durable shoulder bag. Comfortable to carry. It's big enough to put a lot of things in it. The strap is really wide but you can make it look smaller. The design however dose not look like the picture though. On the strap there is a nice holder for your phone. Then there is a button and a zipper on the purse. The only downfall about this purse is the fact that it only has one pocket in the inside. I wish there was more than one pocket.
