(see pictures) There is a top "clear" layer on the decal that inst visible until it starts to peel. I have no idea if it was applied by the maker or of the vinyl comes that way before it is cut into decals but it didnt last long. Once this stuff comes off in a few weeks the decal starts to fade quickly. One good thing is it made it easier to see on dark tinted windows. It looks like crap now and coming off today to be replaced with this decal "We Got Your 6" Blue Line Reflective Decal 12" x 1.8" Show your Support!It costs a little more...we'll see how long it lasts. As always, be safe and happy shopping.Original Review;I searched around a bit before ordering this one and for the price it will be hard to beat if it is applied to the right color background. The thick vinyl is top quality and makes it easy to apply and no air bubbles as stated by the seller. The only part "reflective" about the decal is the blue line. If you are adding this to a window that is tinted it will be hard to see. My Tahoe windows are tinted pretty dark so its hard to see even during the day. If I had to order it again I would look for one that had some sort of outline in white or blue to make it more visible. Applying this to any color other than black would be great I'm sure. But the black on dark window tint makes it very hard to see. Lesson learned. Maybe this will help you to decide if this particular decal is the one for you.
