This item has nine long strands. They are very bright after dark and the auto timer is great. Set it for 6 hours. It works perfectly. About the only problem I had was trying to keep the strands from tangling....but it all worked and they look wonderful. I ordered another set so I could put them inside a lantern and not have to worry about plugs and turning thing off. Great for the price.I have had two sets for a month now, they look awesome but batteries seem to wear out after about 180 hours.
