I start by putting in from the left joycon first and also take off the case from that side. Looks good and makes holding the switch easier, I have large hands and it's pretty comfortable, my only real complaint is the moderate difficulty I find in putting it on / taking off.There are these two thin strip of plastic that curves around the top of the joy cons, they really don't provide much if any support to holding the case on yet detracts from the look of the case and makes taking it off much more difficult. I'm debating cutting them off but don't want to ruin it.
