Before spending many hundreds on a new furnace motor I bought one of these Genteq GE Capacitors as recommended in a online search, and thankfully it was the problem. Very easy to install, just a few basic hand tools required. It has been a year now, and no issues with furnace motor. Review: Fixed my air conditioner problem. - My air conditioner quit blowing cold air so I figured I would try the least expensive fix first. This did the trick. Took about 10 minutes to take the old one off and put this new one on.
