It looks drier than what I bought this year but tastes fine. I have to say I was disappointed w the 1# mixed dried peel I purchased this year. It was chopped into much smaller pieces than in the past. **Q: Are these grown in China?** A: Very doubtful. Citron, the primary ingredient is grown mostly in the West Indies, and the Mediterranean. Winchester foods are produced in NY, USA.
