I got it to hook up to my SLR camera via inverter and a DC adapter while the camera ran for 6 hours taking a photo of the stars with a 20 second exposure then rendered each photo once a minute for a total of 360 photos. At the end of the photo shoot the inverter alarm was sounding because the battery was putting out only 10 volts, but the camera was still clicking once a minute and I got all the photos I wanted.
