The velcro strap does wear out a bit after about a year, but $22.00 for a year of daily wear, and a perfect fit is worth it to me. I’ve owned two so far, in olive and black, and both came exactly as shown in the picture. The velcro on the front is high quality, and perfect size for a standard velcro flag. The inside rim of the hat is the same cotton material as the outside of the hat, so it does collect a lot of sweat on hot days, but does dry pretty quickly. Overall it’s a great hat, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality, low profile ball cap. It's become my favorite cover replacing the Nike running hat I used to wear all the time. One that Nike discontinued BTW. The construction is solid and looks like it will hold up well to the sweat and abuse it will be receiving. Th hat cam as advertised with all the features described and with a good match to the color shown. I bought the "Jungle" colored version. It amazes me how many versions of OD Green everyone has these days. The color is just a bit more brown than I'm used to seeing but still looks good.
