I have the dreaded hooded eyelids so I tend to stay away from liquid liners since cat eyes don't work for me. I only line my water liner and usually smudge it just a little bit for a softer effect. This liner goes on so smooth! It's not chunky at all but it wasn't so dry to the point where I had to apply a lot of pressure. The consistency was perfect. It does dry fairly quickly so I would suggest doing one eye, smudge, then do the other eye and smudge. Its pretty pigmented so I didn't have to apply a lot to get full coverage. I wore it for the first time today and had it on for over 12 hrs working in the office and a couple of walks outside totalling 2 hrs at about 65 to 70 degrees F. I never reapplied it since I normally don't anyway. By the time I went to take it off in the evening, it still looked great! It never ran and I never got the dark rings under my eyes. Some of my other liners (Korean brands, Revlon, Physicians Formula, Cargo, Bare Essentials) were great in some aspects but not all. About 90% of the liner was still there. It never ran so I never found myself wiping my bags in the middle of the day today and only a small amount wore off on the water line but you wouldn't really have noticed unless I pointed it out. Not bad for a 12+ hr day without reapplication. Now the next thing is how nicely it cleaned up. I've had experiences with other eyeliners really needing a good scrubbing to get it off or when it finally does come off, it creates little flakes that get into my eye. That creates so much irritation! Or the eyeliner just becomes a watery mess and now you have to soak even more makeup cleaner on a pad to fully wipe all over your face. But I only needed a couple of qtips and a couple of dabs of cleaner for this one. It was easy to clean up and it didn't smear all over the place or flake. Average pressure was all that was needed. Who knew there could be so much to look for in a product as simple as eyeliner?! I don't wear much makeup but eyeliner is a must have for me. I'm so glad I took a chance on this one cause now I'm hooked.
