Vanilla didn't taste vanilla and there was a taste to it, I think the tahini taste. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Kind of good..? *by A***C on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2021* I’m a huge fan of normal Soom tahini, as well as of halvah, so I was excited to try these flavored versions. But unfortunately, I just don’t see the point of these.Straight from the jar the first thing you might notice is that both flavors are quite runny. The jar mentions using them as a topping, so this consistency might make sense, but I feel that it greatly limits flexibility.Flavor-wise, both are fairly delicious eaten on their own. The vanilla is especially nice; smooth and creamy. The chocolate is more of a cocoa flavor and comes off slightly chalky. In both cases, the flavor is quite mild and not very sweet. Drizzled into yogurt I lose the flavor almost entirely until I add a very large percentage of tahini. Served as a pancake topping, I have to add a bit of maple syrup or honey to get to an appropriate sweetness level. And so on.I tried a number of applications, and between the runny texture and light flavor I can’t find any way to use this product except directly eaten on a spoon, or perhaps as a smoothie base. (And for the latter, that’s really no easier than using my own plain tahini and adding a dash of flavoring.)All in all…meh.
