I am more into wider shots so this 24mm is more for those who want that extra horizontal field of view. I do hope Sirui manufacture an even wider lens (15mm would work really well especially for micro four thirds) but for now using a 0.43 wide angle adapter with the lens works really well as long as you do not mind the soft distorted edges. One thing to note is that this only shoots up to F2.8 aperture and not F1.8 like the previous 2 but because it is 24mm you still will get a shallow depth of field if you are close to your subject, speaking of which this is the only anamorphic lens I know that can shoot 2 feet away the others were about 2.5 feet and most anamorphic lenses have a minimum focus distance of 3 feet. Overall build quality is amazing as expected and the image from all of Sirui's lenses are very sharp for an anamorphic with great contrast and all the so called anamorphic flaws are there (if you want real oval bokeh you will need to modify the lens) If you buy from Sirui themselves shipment is very quick as this arrived about a week earlier then its estimated date which is amazing.
