However, back in December 2013, amazon was out of stock, and based on the positive reviews, I decided to purchase this Renatrophin instead. It caused my cat to vomit up his food everyday, sometimes twice per day. He's already underweight due to his kidney disease so this was an unacceptable side effect. I stopped giving it to him and waited for the Renafood to become available again. He had to take also at least 3/4 of liter of water daily. Diet is crucial in renal disease treatment.I hope this will be helpful for your dog although not every cases is the same.
