The flavor is good, but not the same as the well known brand of cheese puff. If you are familiar with the flavor of nutritional yeast, that is the dominant flavor. The package does list yeast extract as an ingredient, so I assume that is where the cheese-like flavor comes from. The texture is spot on. The texture is a little off, but far closer to a normal cheese that I'm had before (Far better that those horrible Schoolyard ones). The problem for me is the flavor is really bland. Even the hot flavor, which was the biggest letdown for me. If they can just fix the blandness issue, these would be killer.Honestly though, all keto products generally have a seasoning problem. Like can you imagine if they could do something close to the Doritos Ranch seasoning... it would be amazing. Instead is always something really bland and tastes more like dehydrated sour cream. Hilo Life is probably the best at this with their other products though... so, definitely try them. The snack mixes and chips are very good.
