There are no C or D batteries in this kit. I don't think anyone sells C or D rechargeable batteries anywhere. This kit comes with 2 "D" plastic adapters you can put an "AA" battery into each and use it say in an old flashlight that uses D batteries. Read any review on another battery and they compare them to these, this is the bar to rate others. They are more expensive than others but for good reason. These batteries come fully charged by solar power which is awesome. They last a long time, easy to recharge. And will last longer than me. This set has a nice storage case, and charger. It has a variety of of sizes. The C and D are empty shells, that you put a AA into the shell. The charge only fits AA and AAA, you take the AA out of the C and D shells to recharge and swap it out with a fully charged one. These are not my first set of these batteries.
