It's about the size of any other whistle and plastic. I have a small bottle of eye drops next to my laptop here, so to give you a rough estimate it's about that weight. **Q: the strap doesn't seem long enough to fit around the wrist of my glove. In volleyball you keep your whistle in your mouth the entire time you are working. I really like the rubber where it sits on my teeth. I have sensitive teeth and it was very comfortable. I have a cheaper whistle that I was given without the rubber and I don't even use it anymore. This whistle also has a strong and clear sound so it was the perfect tool for the job.
