I've had them up about 3 months now, no issues. The plastic is very solid. Kids are able to climb them with ease. There's plenty to grab/step onto, not a challenging hold. I agree with the other reviewer who said the 2nd washer is unnecessary, even detrimental. The instructions say to place a washer between the climbing hold and the wall. But if you do this, the hold obviously will not sit flush against the wall, there's a little gap. This adds unnecessary stress on the hold, the bolt, and the wall, making for a less-solid attachment. Can the manufacturer explain why they included this 2nd washer? Is the washer supposed to sink into the wood? Anyhow, scrap the 2nd washer and it is solid!
