This isn’t something that can be used as a replacement for silicone oil, solvents, etc because those additives aren’t supposed to be used where/when this is. This is to resin what silicone is to paint. However there are a few downsides that need to be considered and addressed.1. It is very thick and unless you buy a spray bottle specifically for viscous (thick) liquids it will not spray out in a mist. Warming it up will help but will still “squirt” out rather than spray.2. As others have said this will leave oily “craters” in the end product and an oily film as if it all just rises to the top instead of mixes in and hardens with the resin. This is especially pronounced if the resi blast is applied as drops onto the resin as opposed to mixed in before and then poured. If you try to pour another coat on top to even out the craters the same thing will happen even if you think you’ve cleaned it all off. The best way I found to remedy this is to clean it as best you can with alcohol multiple times, then put on an isolation coat (I used gac100) then pour your second coat on top of that.Aside from those things I think it’s great for what it’s supposed to do and there’s really nothing else that does the same thing as resi-blast. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cells galore *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2020* So the first bottle sent was a dud. I asked for a replacement and so glad I did. It really does work! Using the swiping method really made the cells come to life.The first bottle was really thick, this one seemed not as thick . Not sure if that made a difference and using 4 drops per color was the perfect amount. I am very happy with the product. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Meh- Whatever. *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2017* Let me start by saying it does work. The issue... The directions are on the bottle in one sentence. So to read it you need a magnifying glass hence the bottle is tiny. So I will save you the trouble. IF you follow the directions on the bottle it says to drop it on the painting while the resin is still wet. If you do that, the drop clears the resin to the canvas or wood and leaves a crater. You have to redo the craters with clear resin after the first pour cures. OR- You can drop 2 drops per ounce (total guess) into the resin mixed paint and it works from there (uncontrolled of course) but it does work. I tried putting it in a misty spray bottle but it's so thick that it was more of a waste of product than anything.
