## Questions & Answers

**Q: Uk or us size?**
A: I wear a size 9.5 US. So, because Salomon added a bit of room in the toe box with this iteration, I ordered a 9.5 US and they fit perfectly. My last pair was a size 10 US and my new pair feel the same. I can wear thick socks and my feet don’t feel pinched. I hope this helps. 9.5 US is 43.5 EU.

**Q: Ordered in November while on sale. Anyone else take a couple months to receive?**
A: I ordered my pair in mid December and it took about 7 days to receive. Some sizes and color options were out of stock so I made sure to choose a color that showed in stock.
And they are great boots.

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: Vietnam

**Q: Why is a size 10.5 $240 here, when on the Salomon website, they're only $175? Is there something special about these boots?**
A: No, just price differences. Buy them on the Salomon site!

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐ About as waterproof as a sponge!
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 October 2022*

Lovely looking boots, relatively lightweight, but very narrow, which I quite like as it holds your foot in place. The issue is that they are not waterproof in the slightest. Even just brushing against wet grass results in wet feet. It doesn't have to be a prolonged exposure to the wet either, just a glancing brush against a wet surface of some kind against the uppers. Not cheap either!!

### ⭐ Lacking quality
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 23 May 2024*

So I had a different pair of walking shoes before this pair. Lasted over 2 years of near constant use. Then I got a pair of these for walking home after work (super easy compared to the last pairs life) and within 5 months back of the heal has started to give out and the quick laces have snapped. £10 each to replace. So bare that in mind when you buy these.

### ⭐⭐ Mixed performance: dry good, wet miserable.
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 January 2026*

I have had these for 6 months now and its mixed.Positive: comfortable and light weight. Done many long walks (mainly on soft or sandy soils) with no discomfort. Light enough to "jog" for short distances.Negatives: absolutely useless when its wet. A little rain is OK - but if you are encountering puddles and streams or wet grass and bushes then you are going to have wet feet. One seems worse than the other for some reason. So bottom line: great summer boots or frozen winter - but will leave you wet if its damp.
