I did one on my forearm with a heavier stroke and the ink seemed to START fading at the 10 day mark. My wife did one on my upper arm, but used a much lighter stroke that started fading around the 5 day mark. I consider this a plus because of the versatility. Edit: as a follow up after a few uses, and starting on a full upper body piece for a cosplay, it seems as if the ink dries out fast, but it sort of doesn't. Meaning: after a short while the tip starts to dry up and a bit of a dangly piece off the tip starts to form. If you cut off the dangly piece or use the thicker side of the pen you will get better results and more ink. Ideally you'll want to do your work in the morning if possible. Sleeping seems to be the worst time for the ink bleeding and fading. i.e.. the longer you wait to sleep, the less issues you'll have. The ink can still fade at close to 12 hours after application if you aren't careful. After 24 hours it stays on really good. The difference in the Fine tip and Medium tip is minimal.
