In this book, as its title implies, Dr. Chang presents an extremely comprehensive overview of both mitochondrial function amd dysfunction; comprising details of harmful lifestyle choices and appropriate interventions and measures that can be employed everyday by everybody to promote better health. Through the lens of the functional medicine approach to the many problems which have mitochondrial dysfunction as their cause, Michael Chang presents a catalogue of the various strategies at the cutting-edge of our scientific knowledge which can be successfully applied to return us to good health. This is a tour-de-force and one-of-its-kind examination of how symptom, cause and remedy can all be linked centering around the understanding of mitochondria.

Only 23 pages long in huge type and with very large paragraph spaces. This is vanity publishing at its worst - and what concerns me is that the author carefully refrains from providing whatever qualifications he might have. Research from any other sources simply does not exist. There are no references given, nor any contact details of organisations that might be helpful. This pamphlet is a waste of money, and quite possibly be touting erroneous material. It is obvious why the author could not find a responsible publisher for his tract.
